The problem.
60% of textiles are now made from plastic fibres.
These microfibres are one of the largest sources of microplastic pollution in our oceans – damaging our environment and ending up in our food chain.
Every time we wash our clothes, up to 700,000 plastic fibres are released from our washing machines and into our waterways.
Our solution.
Gulp is designed to swallow up the microplastics from your laundry before the ocean does. Our simple solution connects directly to your washing machine and effectively captures microfibres before they can enter our oceans and rivers.
By choosing Gulp, you can help make a real difference to protect our planet from microplastic pollution.
The best part? Gulp’s clever self-cleaning technology doesn’t require replacement filters, so you don’t have to worry about extra costs or additional waste.
With Gulp's easy installation process, you can start making a positive impact right away!
As seen in.
Closing the loop on microfibre pollution.
We’re proud of our technology that stops microplastics from polluting our oceans - but that’s just the beginning. Our vision is to turn microfibres captured by Gulp into a valuable resource, creating a truly closed loop system.

There are a couple options you can choose from when deciding what to do with the collected microfibres from Gulp. When Gulp becomes full, you can simply empty the microfibres in the bin or save them up and send them back to us. We will be accepting returns of microfibres captured by Gulp which will be used for ongoing research or recycled into new products. Both options achieve the important goal of saving them from entering our oceans! To find out more about the work we are doing on recycling microfibres, check out our closing the loop page.
